Description
Two centuries before our studio opened its doors in the Jonkershoek Valley, Scottish artist and diarist Lady Anne Barnard sat on the slopes above Cape Town, capturing the Cape landscape in watercolour.
We find enduring inspiration in her curious spirit, unconventional life and determination to experience the world for herself. As an homage to her work, we have reproduced four of her paintings on generous cotton tea towels, bringing these historic Cape scenes into the everyday home.
Beautiful enough to display and practical enough to use, each tea towel offers a small piece of South African history for your kitchen.
